Large and impressive early 20th century work on Japanese art in many media, from architecture to bronze and showing many superb objects, including national treasures, the majority from the collection of the Tokyo Imperial Museum. The objects are illustrated on black-and-white plates, ranging from one object per plate to plates showing numerous items. Text in Japanese. Whilst fine externally, this work is splitting in the centre, mainly due to its weight. Very scarce and priced accordingly.
