GBP 70.00 The area around the city of Baoji in the north-west of China in Shaanxi province has long been famous as an ancient area of Chinese civilization and one which has yielded very rich and important finds of ancient Chinese bronzes. Such has been the scope of these finds that the city of Baoji has a museum dedicated to bronzes and this work focusses on the museum's fine collection of Chinese bronze mirrors. Some two hundred mirrors are shown, the vast majority early - Song and before. Illustrated throughout in colour.
