Catalogue of an exhibition held at Yicheng Museum located in the north-west of Hubei province in China. The town of Yicheng has a long history with much pertaining to the Chu state of the Warring States period and the Han dynasty. This is reflected by the rich archaeological finds in the area dating from these times, a selection of the finest being shown here. Includes ritual bronzes, chariot fittings, weaponry, a group of small and unusual bronze tomb figurines of men on horses, inlaid bronze weights, small jades and glass beads. Illustrated throughout.
