She is said to have been born in AD 960 and to have ascended into heaven in broad daylight in 987. This book is a fine facsimile of a work originally entitled 'Tianhou Shengmu Shengji Tuzhi', the detailed account of the girl-goddess's life and works, with fine woodcut illustrations.
