This fine facsimile is based on a Ming period edition of 1632 which includes excellent traditional full-figure portraiture of the various sages and worthies. (Quite unusually for this type of illustration, there is real character in the faces of these figures.) Confucius, of course, is the first in priority, as the 'zhisheng' or Sage of Sages. In Chinese only.
