GBP 30.00 Facsimile of a title from the well-known collectanea of famous dramas and dramatics produced to a high standard by Liu Shiheng (1875-1926) and based, in turn, on a fine Ming-period Wanli edition with some splendid woodcut illustrations. The text is one of the late Yuan-early Ming 'Sida Chuanqi' (Four Great Southern Plays), a tale of scholar-beauty romance and virtue similar in plot to Gao Ming's 'Pipa ji'.
