Could you get me that one?

THE HANSHAN TANG WEB SITE
On this site you are able to access a set of records corresponding to our current paper-published list, along with a substantial selection of our stock and many featured items.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS SITE ONLY EVER DISPLAYS A SMALL PORTION OF OUR TOTAL STOCK. If you do not find what you are looking for here, it is always worth getting in touch with us by other means to see if we can answer your requirements.

When the 'New List' button is highlighted on the menubar section of the site, you are browsing all the records which are in our most recent printed list (when first uploaded, these records are on the web site before the printed list has been issued). By clicking, for example, the 'B' section of the alphabet, you will have in the 'index' (left-hand) window a simple list of all records filed under 'B' (for author surname, or title if there is no named author). Clicking on the titles in this list brings up the full details of each item.

Books which are NEWLY or Recently published may be accessed by selecting the 'NEW BOOKS in List xxx' item from the pop-up menu. You may also use the Search facility, by typing "NEW BOOK" including the quote marks into the text field.

LISTS & CATALOGUES IN PDF FORMAT
Recent catalogues are also available as PDF files for download into your browser or Adobe reader.

AVAILABILITY
Please Note: 1) the records on this web site represent only a small proportion of our stock. If there are books you cannot find, please contact us with a Wants List;
2) The books listed here may not necessarily be in stock. This site has everything from our last four catalogues. Out-of-print books in the earlier lists may well have gone. However, we record all your enquiries concerning items you want. If we obtain further copies, they will be quoted to you.

Keyword searching has been added to the site.
For instructions on how to use this search facility, please click the search button.

SITE GUIDE
Above you will see the menu frame, which is always present and which you use to navigate our online catalogue. The highlighted button, for example:

indicates which selection of on-line records you are browsing, or how you are browsing them (by name, by subject, etc.)

In the frame to the left you will see a list of complete titles with names of authors. At any one time, this frame holds a list of all appropriate titles or authors for a particular letter of the alphabet. Move to another letter of the alphabet by clicking on the appropriate letter in the Menu window above. For example, if NEW is highlighted and you click "L", a list of all the new books with author names beginning with "L" are loaded into the left hand, index frame.

To see a detailed record of the book, click its underlined title. The full record will be loaded into the frame (the record frame) where you are reading this help page.
TIP: If you need to bring back this 'Help' page you can click the help button in the Menu frame at any time.

This is only A SMALL SELECTION OF OUR STOCK. Basically, this site holds all the records of books which have appeared in our last three published catalogues.
