Located near Mentougou just outside western Beijing, the Longquanwu kiln flourished under the Liao and primarily produced white-glazed porcelains such as those found in Liao tombs. This work illustrates numerous examples - intact pieces, fragments and shards together with drawings of how complete pieces would have looked. Much also on the production of porcelain during the Liao period and the kiln-site itself. Three page English abstract. Main text in Chinese.
